Once a staple of the well‑dressed gentleman, these small gentleman’s wardrobes have outlived their original purpose. Now, these handsome relics are beautifully repurposed into the perfect children’s wardrobes.

Once a staple of the well‑dressed gentleman, these small gentleman’s wardrobes have outlived their original purpose. Now, these handsome relics are beautifully repurposed into the perfect children’s wardrobes.

I have been searching for so long to find a gentleman’s wardrobe that could fit into our car, and standing at 134 cm high, this one fitted in perfectly.

I've painted this in "Ansom" by Cornish Milk Paint Company. They use natural pigments, all influenced by living by the Cornish coast. The paint is non-toxic and environmentally safe, as is the water-based top coat I use from Littlefairs. Top coats are essential to enhance durability and longevity.

I've decoupaged the exterior in wallpaper from Lust Home. I think it strikes the perfect balance between whimsical, charm, and contemporary edge.

As with all decoupage pieces, clean with a dry cloth and avoid chemical cleaners.

This is a vintage piece, probably dating from the 1930s. It has some signs of age, but nothing that distracts from its beauty.
